False sexual harassment allegations

False sexual harassment allegations are becoming more common, in the most recent parlance they are referred to as "factitious Sexual Harassment allegations." The trend has been for major corporations to cut and run when such allegations occur, preferring to offer even a CEO as human sacrifice rather than try to resist even patently false allegations since the media has proved relentless on this subject. One Japanese auto manufacturer attempted to resist a false allegation but the media retribution cost the company so many millions of dollars in lost sales and other business disruptions that it proved simpler just to fire the target of the allegations and pay the woman money while promising to adopt the NOW standards for male supervisors conduct.

The definition of what constitutes sexual harassment is an extremely fluid one. And one driven by extremist feminist organizations and the media as opposed to the law. We hear about the "reasonable woman standard" but have yet to see any logical definition of the term that could be applied to the law, civil or criminal. Defending such a case is not something for an amateur. Sadly those who could help aren't consulted very often. There are experts available to help such cases. If you face such an allegation, do NOT rely on the attorney(s) supplied by your company! Or at the end you will wind up saying "et tu Brute!"
