This is a life-threatening war you are in and you better be prepared, aggressive, and able to WIN. You cannot do that in court without experts who know all about False Allegations, Wrongful Convictions, False Accusers, courts, laws, and everything involved.

Also...if you look under Pangborn's "What client's say" that's my quote. Ken is awesome. Most attorney's are walking violations to the sixth ammendment and the oath they took. For most attorneys, it doesn't happen in real life like it does on "The Practice." The fact is, most don't give a sh*t. Your BF gets convicted, the attorney still gets paid and goes home in his silk boxers without a care in the world.
Ken actually gives a damn. He has become a dear friend of mine over the year and a half I have known him. I only wished he lived here in Michigan. I have seen the Christmas cards and letters he gets from clients and their families years after their case is resolved. Moreover, he continues to come up with strategies & stuff that not only the juries eat up, but the honest prosecutors will too. The testing he will probably recommend is KEY.
Don't let money bother you. Do whatever it takes. I tried the cheap route and all I got was lied to and the run around. As soon as I hired Ken, stuff started to happen for the better. It helped me legally, socially and emotionally.
You only have one shot at this... don't blow it.

KEN NEEDS to WRITE some books, but it takes a LOT of time and effort; and Ken is usually busy helping others... What matters most is getting Ken to write out everything he knows so that if something happens to Ken (God forbid), "someone" can "take over" and fill that "gap!" Ken needs some "disciples" (apprentices) to TRAIN (to observe and learn from watching and working with and for Ken...)... Ken is a KEY Defense "tool" we can't afford to LOSE!!! May GOD keep him SAFE and WELL... But, we all know that sooner or later each "generation" moves on from this life, and SOMEONE will need to "be there" for future generations; because it's highly unlikely this "stuff" will stop or change in this life... With all that's going on in America today, things can only get worse...

It was only after this discussion that my attorney really honed in and started to hammer the crap out of the competition. He said to me, "you have to understand Mark... I just get into that mindset. 80% of the people I defend are guilty. There is no two ways around it they are guilty, often caught with their hands in the cookie jar. So I always am thinking of ways to get them the best deal. Ways to broker the least amount of time, or probation. But I have been thinking, and you are right. I thought to myself over the weekend, "this guy deserves better then that." He even admitted that at first I seemed guilty to him. But the arguments, the hiring Ken, then the attorney hiring his own polygrapher to confirm Ken's results... he changed his tune dramatically. By the time it was over, the government was running away from my case saying "hell no, we don't even want this case on our desks". I can thank a few things for that but one was Ken and his testing, his preparation and presentation... and the other was an onfire attorney ready to bury the competition with a scorched earth, leave no prisoners policy.

Randy, in response to your "how rich" question - It has been a while so I don't remember all the figures - One time I wrote out the costs attached to a picture and named it "priceless." It is on Ken's website. In retrospect I think some of the dollar numbers for the attorneys are low - because I still incurred more billable hours after that and I did not include the cost of the attorney I had appointed for my daughter (I don't think). Anyway, Ken's bill was the smallest expense in terms of the overall. I could have saved more time and money by hiring Ken and following his advice sooner. I did not use any of Ken's attorneys ... in the end that probably would have been more cost effective also. If I had to do it all again, I would have hired Ken immediately (but I did not know he existed) and I would have had my attorney confront the government representatives (social worker, cop, etc) much sooner. But like many things, my ex turned the case into one convoluted mess of lies...

Kenneth Pangborn has been telling Ron and I that a diminished capacity defense should have been investigated by a competent psychologist before trial.
Although I had heard of diminished capacity as a defense, I had not realized how powerful it was until I looked at the attached treatment of diminished capacity in our state.
The more I learn about what Ken Pangborn brings to a child sexual defense, it might just be malpractice for an attorney to not hire him and his people.

Ken, you're a good man! You just can't see your net because it's the consequences of your choices to do what's right. It's like the Allstate saying, "You're in Good Hands". It's the insurance policy we have with the Lord paid by our choices to follow him, doing what he'd do given a situation. And if we do what is right, then we can feel good and able to look him in the eyes one day with a clean heart. Now, I have never seen or talked to you before, but do you realize how much good (Christ-like works) you've done just in my situation?

Well, we got what I think was a victory. He was found responsible for some though not all acts. The findings will not be shared with the German court by order of the Board President. He got a general discharge which means he can re-enlist in 90 days if he wants to. His rank is preserved and he won't lose his retirement. These last three items would have been automatic if he had gotten an "other than honorable discharge".
Your help was tremendous. You're great under pressure and I will be letting my colleagues know about you - although I assume you prefer to maintain your hat as trial consultant and not somebody who testifies, right? You did a great job, I might add. Better than Dr. C because you didn't pretend that you were infallable or had all the answers. That made you MUCH more credible to the board.

Dude, don't beat up on yourself too much. Had I called Ken first thing... done the tests, hired the attorney and flown everyone out. The entire episode I went through probably would have ended in two to three months and cost half as much as it cost in the end. I have lost count at this juncture but I think I probably would have saved at least 30 to 40 grand if I had known about ken and hired him from the get go. Maybe more could have been saved. Its hard to tell. But I do know from the point of accusation to the end it was 8 months (for the sex abuse stuff - more to resolve custody issues). Once Ken was involved I think it all came to an end in 3 months.
Hey it can be hard to make the right choices up front. Ken comes across like a bull in a china shop, so that can dissuade some people from hiring him. And then there are the infinite amount fof things flying through your head - the whats, ifs, hows, whys, and whens, ...all kinds of acute intense stuff racing through your head. The bizarre behavior of the people pursuing you. The utter disbelief you go through that another person could be so incredibly dense, so blind, and so dangerous to you and your children. All while saying they are for the "best interests of the child." It is easily the most surreal experience I have ever been through.

I was lucky enough to get the means (an excellent attorney recommended by the Ateam) to appear in front of a judge. I can just pray that anyone who is in this situation will never have the misfortune to have a judge like I did. A judge that does not even know all the statutes involved? A judge that has preconceived ideas about the case before you even walk in the court room. God help us all!
There is still no proof of anything, after all is said and done, so the emotional damage will remain 'till we die. I don't think there is a "cure" for the falsely accused. The only thing we can do is refuse to be victims, despite the fact that we have been victimised.

There are "experts" who are so wrapped up in their own ego, that they fail to recongnize a client who is unstable to the point of killing his spouse.
All of this, including the various "players" in the industry, may be old news to professionals, and not worthy of discussion. For others, who are targets of false abuse charges, it MIGHT help to understand what they are up against, especially if they are not in a position to have someone like Ken in court for them.

For those questioning costs of hiring Ken Pangborn and the A-TEAM when knowing they exist and how to contact them BEFORE criminal trials begin--at the moment when False Allegations with potential for Wrongful Convictions are involved (hopefully able to finance efforts BEFORE things get so out of hand).
Most are like us with no clue they exist and without ability to finance assistance and/or an appropriate legal Defense until after Wrongful Convictions because things "happen" too fast with unreasonable, traumatic legal deadlines and abuses. Many unable to finance costs for various reasons are forced to do without appropriate assistance and info.
Most with NO experience, info, or knowledge about how things "work" and why before FALSE arrest, incarceration, and abuses begin. Too little time to prepare for what happens and why, esp ALONE without support systems and assistance from those who do know things who can and will help.
Abandoned and avoided by others afraid and unwilling to get involved or be informed. ALONE.

Scared traumatized people often make inappropriate choices and can rarely think clearly or function. They rarely trust anyone and usually have no clue about anything involved. They don't know what to say and do or why or when. Especially when they don't know help exists or how to find it and get it.
You can tell them for me I would never risk even the first court hearing because of False Allegations without YOUR assistance and the A-TEAM with the best chance of stopping efforts before a hearing or trial can begin; with the knowledge you exist and how to contact you, and ability to finance things. Costs are far too great.

Tom mentions having you and the A-TEAM IF he had the "right" Attorney, etc; but few Attornies know about you and the A-TEAM until a client informs them. It's up to those who know you exist and how to contact you to make sure others know. Finding the "right" Defense Attorney usually requires help from Ken and the A-TEAM. Otherwise, it must be an Attorney willing to work with Ken appropriately.
